Connolly’s RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix League & FBD Speed Series Move to Co Kerry For Second Rounds

Following the opening rounds of the Connolly’s RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix League and FBD Speed Series at Ballylawn last weekend, both competitions move to Co Kerry this Sunday, with Kingdom County Fair hosting the second rounds of action.
Francis Connors got his defence of the Munster Grand Prix league off to the perfect start, winning on home soil at Ballylawn with Uskerty Diamond Lady. However “Fra” is not among the starters declared for Sunday’s competition which takes place at Ballybeggan Racecourse, Tralee, giving his nearest rivals the perfect opportunity to gain an advantage.
Liam O Meara missed out on the league opener at Ballylawn, but saddles three horses in Tralee this time out and he will be among the favourites to take the winners prize, while Sinead Kennedy would certainly prove a popular winner with the locals, the Kerry native will partner KEC Delilah.
Meanwhile the €20,000 FBD Speed Series also visits Kingdom County Fair, with Waterford’s Paul Beecher keen to build on his win at Ballylawn. A large group of riders turned out for the first round of this new series and Kingdom County Fair is expected to do likewise, in the  exciting crowd pleasing speed class.
The FBD Speed Series at Kingdom County Fair  gets underway at 10am, with the Connolly’s RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix league starting at 2pm.
